Community
My hosts and I believe that true hospitality begins with sharing. That’s why we support projects that make a real difference right on our doorstep — helping the people who form our community and the region we love so deeply.
It’s not about grand gestures or big words, but about genuine help: fostering education, providing meals, and strengthening human connection. We focus on where it matters most — with heart, reliability, and a clear goal: to make life around Colchester just a little better.
NukaKamma Hospitality School
The NukaKamma Hospitality School gives disadvantaged adults the chance to receive a professional education in hospitality and tourism.
We proudly support this initiative by offering permanent training placements at our lodge, helping these young talents gain hands-on experience and establish themselves in the industry.
Graduates are guaranteed employment — for example, at Club Med or in premium game reserves across the region. For many, this marks the first step toward a stable career and a brighter future — a genuine investment in the people and future of the Eastern Cape.
Soup Kitchen in the “Village” of Colchester
In our small township community — affectionately known as the Village — we fund a soup kitchen that regularly provides warm meals for local children and families.
This simple initiative offers direct, reliable support exactly where it’s needed most — right here at home, from our hearts to our neighbors.
Ongoing and Future Projects
More projects will follow — always with the goal of strengthening the local community and creating sustainable opportunities.
Soon, we’ll also introduce a small, voluntary contribution on all overnight stays to support our social projects. This will, of course, be optional.
With every encounter, every stay, and every kind gesture, our sense of community grows — a network of care that connects us all.
