Addo Elephant Park

You can easily do your full day game drive by yourself into your own vehicle in Addo or you can go on a Game drive at the Main Camp at the North Gate. You can also do games drive with a private certificated guide into a 9 seat Vehicle, for a full day game drive in Addo. Game Reserve

Several game reserves offer full day or half day visits including dinner, places where you can see the big five and having a South African dinner around a nice fire. Kragga Kamma Game Reserve is one of the places in Port Elizabeth suitable for family visits.

Addo Elephant Back Safari

Go by plane into the Zuuberg section of Addo and have an amazing experience being in touch with the majestic elephants and observe all the others animals in Addo.

Addo Wild life Sanctuary

The Wild Life Sanctuary offers you the opportunity to discover lots of snakes, porcupine, eagles and many other rarely-sighted animals. All the animals in the Sanctuary have been rescued and are being cared for there.

Daniels

The sanctuary of the cheetah. If you want to be able to say that you have touched a cheetah, caracal, surricat, baby lion or leopard, this is the place to visit. You will be able to learn more about their behaviour and lifestyles.

Karl will offer you a nice experience of sand boarding on the dune.
Teenagers will be fond of this really special sport.

Adrenalin Addo Zip Line

Fast, fun and safe, this exhilarating ride begins from a vantage point 60 meters above the Sundays River, overlooking a valley of citrus. Brave enough to take that initial launch, 500 meter twin zip lines fly two riders over the river at up to 60 km/h. An automatic breaking system at the end of the zip means you do nothing but enjoy the ride!

Horse riding

You can get an experience at the main gate of Addo Park by doing horse riding. There are two possibilities: starters or advanced level.

Beaches and Dunes

You can relax and spend time at the beach in the middle of the magnificent dunes in the area. It is a beautifully untouched and restful place to spend time and very easy to reach.

Raggy Charter

Lloyd and all his team offer a cruise from Port Elizabeth Harbor, to meet South African penguin, dolphins, all kinds of birds and whales around Brenton and Bird Island, in Algoa Bay. This is a conservatory project.

Passion for Penguins

SAMREC is Port Elizabeth’s new marine bird rehabilitation and education centre situated in the Cape Recife Nature Reserve. The centre’s purpose isn’t just to rescue and rehabilitate, but to also inform and educate the public through their different programs.Tour our marine rehab and education centre and experience nature through sight, sound and touch.Visitors can experience the hospital and see the volunteers in action helping to save our environment, in particular the endangered African Penguin.

Cape Recife Nature Reserve

The 366 hectare Cape Recife Nature Reserve was proclaimed in 1973, and is situated next to the Pine Lodge Holiday Resort off Marine Drive, Summerstrand.A 9 km circular walking trail starts at the entrance gate of the Nature Reserve and offers beautiful unspoilt beaches, natural dune vegetation, rocky outcrops, a lighthouse built in 1851, an old military observation post, as well as a bird hide.The Cape Recife Nature Reserve is also regarded as one of the best bird-watching venues around Port Elizabeth.
